Introduction
Help shape the future of Sayers Common
Berkeley Latimer is continuing to progress proposals for the Land to the South of Reeds Lane (Site DPSC3) as part of a wider vision to support future growth at Sayers Common. We would welcome your views on our emerging proposals.
Following the first phase of engagement earlier this year, which focused on the Masterplan Framework for Sayers Common, we have been reviewing feedback received, finalising the Masterplan Framework for Sayers Common and incorporating this into emerging proposals for the Land to the South of Reeds Lane.
This latest stage of consultation focuses on the emerging proposals for the Land to the South of Reeds Lane specifically, ahead of an outline planning application being submitted to Mid Sussex District Council in autumn 2026. This includes an illustrative masterplan, which demonstrates how the delivery of new homes, green spaces, infrastructure and community facilities could come forward in a sustainable and holistic way.
The proposals are being shaped in response to the emerging Mid Sussex District Plan and through ongoing collaboration with Mid Sussex District Council, parish councils and the feedback received through the previous stage of consultation. Your input will help shape the final design and ensure it responds to the needs of both existing and future residents.
